About Us

We are your connection to City Hall — a community-led council advocating for the voices of Zapata-King residents.

The Zapata-King Neighborhood Council (ZKNC) is an elected advisory body under the City of Los Angeles, created to represent the needs and priorities of our local community. Our board is made up of dedicated stakeholders — residents, business owners, and community members — who live or work in the Zapata-King area. We work closely with city departments, elected officials, and neighbors to address real issues like housing, safety, youth programs, infrastructure, and environmental concerns.
